Dunkin' Donuts in Schertz

“I usually don't do reviews but I felt I needed to. The staff was all young women probably teenagers which usually means long wait times and zero customer service but this store was so efficient and polite and accommodating I would go out of my way to come here again. Excellent job ladies! Special shout out to Channel who was especially kind and made the whole experience worthwhile.“

“Stopped by Dunkin’ inside Walmart because I was craving coffee and hadn’t had Dunkin’ in a very long time. It’s located just inside the Walmart entrance, to the right, and overall I had a good experience.

There was only one employee working when I visited, but she was friendly and provided good customer service despite handling everything herself. My coffee originally had a little too much ice, but when I mentioned it, she fixed it right away without any issue. The coffee tasted great, and the price was very reasonable.

One thing I noticed was a sign near the counter saying they had been closed due to not having enough employees. On my way out, I spoke with a few Walmart employees who mentioned that the Dunkin’ location sometimes has to close because of staffing shortages. They expressed some frustration about the situation and felt that management could do more to address the staffing problems. It’s unfortunate because even the Walmart employees said they enjoy getting coffee there, but they can’t always count on it being open.

I was also surprised to learn this location has already been open for about eight months. They still don’t have donuts available, so hopefully that is something they’ll add soon. A Dunkin’ without donuts definitely feels like something is missing!

Besides the staffing and availability concerns, my actual experience with the employee and the coffee was very good. She did a great job, especially considering she was working by herself. Good coffee, great price, and friendly service. I would definitely recommend giving this location a try — hopefully management can get the staffing situation figured out so customers can count on it being open!“
