I was communicating with this business over messenger trying to work out the details for my wife's 50th birthday party for her cake. In trying to ask questions over messenger, while I was at work and them taking some time to respond, they suddenly told me that someone else had just paid for a cake and that they no longer had any availability for the day. hate to leave this review, but I’m so upset. I ordered a cake for my daughter’s 1st birthday and it was lovely. I decided to order again for her 4th birthday and I was quite a price that had increased by 50%. I was shocked by the price, but I understand that inflation has impacted us all. I knew that we were satisfied with the service before, so I was ok playing $180. For our Anniversary in 2022, my wife and I decided we wanted to get a cake to celebrate. We both like old-fashioned butter-creme icing, and not that new light, marshmallow-ish stuff that bakeries put on cakes today. We wanted a layer-cake with thick butter-creme filling, as well as icing on the outside. Emily's Cakes came through for us. The cake we got was more than expected and was absolutely delicious!
