Despite driving past a million times, I've somehow missed noticing this place. The food is FANTASTIC. My oldest son told us about it so we went in to try it out. Hey, if you're tired of all the Mexican restaurants in New Braunfels because they all taste the same, then you've GOT TO CHECK OUT Sal-O-Mon. It's right on highway 306, between Above Ground Pizza and Comal Crawfish. Their food is very flavorful and definitely a HEALTHY approach to typical Mexican food. Their recipes are from the interior of Mexico, their tortillas are piping hot and absolutely delicious, and their desserts are outstanding! Lisa
True Mexican food, not tex-mex. Food was very good and a good value. Unfortunately, the atmosphere in the dining room was not as inviting. Maybe next time I will get the food to go.
