My husband and I came for early dinner and the staff were super friendly! They were bringing fresh food out to the buffet consistently.
Our only gripe is that the macaroni wasn’t very cheesy/saucy (a little more on the liquid side).
Other than that, we had a good meal and would definitely come back in the future.

I've visited other Hartz Chicken Buffets in the Houston area and was excited to try this one. The chicken on their buffet was crispy, generously sized, and flavorful. However, I found their sides to be surprisingly bland. The fried chicken gizzards were also bland. Everything was fresh but I expected their sides to be seasoned. Atmosphere is very homey and crew was friendly. I just wish the sides didn't taste like hospital food.
I visited this Hartz Chicken Restaurant on 2/21/26 at lunchtime. The restaurant was clean and the staff was very friendly.
There's actually a senior discount! They were busy, but the buffet was fully stocked and hot. The staff was packing a large order to go, for out of towners in vans and a few car loads of people who were so excited.
The place was just explosive! AND THE FOOD WAS GOOD.
We ate in and ordered chicken to take home! We enjoyed the experience.
