“Went in search of trying something new. Found this place and took a chance. Well worth it. Man working in there was super friendly and helpful in choosing what to order. Food was super fresh, chicken was crispy. We had the kimchi fries and they were delicious. The sauces were amazing. Great find. Will be back again.“

“If you’ve been missing Jiggae, the little spot by the train tracks that closed during the overpass construction, you’ll be glad to know it’s found new life as The Kimbap. Some of the beloved classics remain—like the kimchi fried rice and veggie pancakes (my personal favorites)—but the new menu now highlights several kimbap varieties that fit right in.
The space is as cozy as ever, with only about four 4-person tables, so expect it to fill up quickly. On my visit, a steady stream of people came in for takeout, which seems to be a big part of their business.
Fortunately, their kimchi fried rice is still that perfect balance of spice and tang, exactly the kind of dish I sometimes crave. The veggie pancakes just the way I remembered.
It’s not fancy dining. I’m just so glad they reopened.“

“We had an absolutely wonderful experience. My favorite dish is the Galbi (short rib) and the close second is the spicy pork(not too spicy). The staff is so friendly and patient. You write your order on a little ticker and take it up front to order.
We’ll definitely be back again and hopefully for lunch this time.“

“Went to Two Hands with my girlfriend, and had a great time!
We were hungry and she was craving meat while I was not, so we decided to go here because we knew they had options for people like us! There were a bounty of types of corn dogs from potato dogs (the two on the top of the image) to a spicy dog (the red one) to the Two Hands Dog (bottom corn dog) and a whole bunch more! (all the types will be listed at the end, curtesy of the website I found out they have!)
The real kicker (and the reason I say it's for people like us) is that you can fill the corn dogs with several different things. Off the top of my head I remember:
- Entirely Mozzarella Cheese
- Half Mozz Half Beef
- Half Mozz Half Cheddar
- Beef
- Sausage
- Spicy Sausage
- Vegan Sausage
Now I'm a simple man, so we got the 3 piece combo and added an extra potato dog on there for my pups at home. In my Two Hands dog I got whole mozz, one of the potato had half mozz half beef, the spicy was all beef (for the gf), and the last potato had all beef for the doggos. Also, we got the dirty fries too. Before I get to how damn GOOD they were, let me tell you how fast the service was.
I ordered those and the cashier up front who's name I learned was Nayeli (hope I spelled that right), was fantastic and easy to talk to. Once I ordered, it took less than 15 minutes to get our fries and 4 delicious looking (and quite beefy, no pun intended) corn dogs, despite there being at least two other sets of people there before us.
The dogs themselves were excellent. My mozz was hot and melty, and the crunch of the potato dog was almost as satisfying. We got garlic ranch on the side as well as drizzled on our fries (which normally have spicy seasoning as well) and I must say, I was debating on walking back there and grabbing a handful of extra garlic ranch.
Now, as for the price, I can't tell you this is akin to any kind of fast food despite them being corn dogs, but I can tell you it was worth it. I couldn't tell you what the price was off the top of my head but I THINK it was around $17-$20 for the 3 piece combo which comes with three humongous corn dogs, two drinks, and a side.
The drink choice we went with was two of their slushes, the Horchata and the Lemonade. The Lemonade was sweet and delicious, but my personal fav, the Horchata, tasted like a cinnamon dream.
Overall, I am excited to return and absolutely will.
(The vast amount of corn dogs:
- Spicy,
- Potato,
- Two Hands,
- Crispy Rice,
- Classic,
- American,
- Injeolmi

“This was my very first time stepping into the Katy SomiSomi. Found them by accident. The moment you walk in, the smell of fresh-baked taiyaki hits you… the goldfish-shaped waffle cones lined up behind the counter smell so good.
I went with the Cookies & Cream + Earl Grey and I asked for Nutella filling inside the taiyaki. The Earl Grey brought a subtle tea floral notes that cut through the rich cookies-and-cream chunks, and the warm Nutella tail of the fish cone was the perfect crunchy-finisher. I will come back for more.“
