“First time visiting Gloria’s to see what all the buzz is about, and I have to say, it lives up to the hype. The place is stunning and always bustling, so be prepared to wait a bit for parking. Upon checking in, the hostesses were welcoming and gave us an estimated wait time for our table. They initially said 35-40 minutes, but it ended up being more like 10-15 minutes—pleasantly surprising! Our servers were incredibly attentive and kind, making the entire experience feel seamless. The service was well-organized, from the prompt delivery of chips and salsa to the drinks, and the food was even brought out by chefs in white coats, adding a special touch. Everything flowed perfectly, and the food was a solid 12/10—absolutely delicious! Loved the vibe and atmosphere. I can’t wait to come back and try something new next time!“

“Delicious brunch! Homemade corn and flour tortillas. Great variety. Biscuits and gravy, fresh waffles, omelettes, barbacoa, carnitas, chicharrón in salsa, nopales, barbacoa, chiles rellenos, menudo, etc., etc., etc!“

“We heard family talk about how good Chuy's was and we have been looking for good Mexican food. We were in the area and thought we would give it a try. OH MY!!!! The restaurant is decorated very colorfully and our waiter, Kevin, was cheerful and attentive. We received our chips and salsa...AND...the creamy Jalapeno dip. That was like jalapeno ranch dressing. Both were good and the chips were great. We ordered the steak burrito with hatch pepper, Mexican rice, and beans, and a chicken enchilada (a la carte). The food came out in a reasonable amount of time and was hot. The green chili on the enchilada was bland and seemed like it needed another ingredient. The hatch green chili sauce on the steak burrito had good taste and was slightly spicy (for me).
Overall, the food was some of the better Mexican food we have tried in the last few months. The cost was reasonable, getting out of the door at $33 including tip and fountain drinks.“

“Food was very good. Service was not. After almost 10 minutes had to flag down a waiter to see who was supposed to be taking care of our table. This waiter took our drink and appetizer order and delivered our appetizer hot to the table. When the waiter who was to take our table showed up, she just walked up and said” you ready to order?” No introduction, no explanation of the confusion and why she now was taking our order. We came at 5 pm and they were not busy with plenty of wait staff walking to other tables. May try them again as the food is good and will need to see if service better the next time.“

“Went to El Palenque after a lapse in time of visiting. Found they were under new management. Orders Pollo Con Crema, Pablano, order of tortillas and one Margarita to go. Pollo Con Crema was very salty, the Stuffed Pablano was only 1, and never received the tortilla's after being asked if it was flour our corn, a few times. Got home with my bag, no tortillas. Order was just under $40.00. Very disappointed. Until they 'regulate' their menu, prices and service, I won't be going back for some time. One Pablano 'dinner' was $18.00. Come on now. Pollo Con Crema used to be my go to but not now. The chicken was good but all served on top of the refried beans. Was a soupy mess.“

“Stopped in for Happy Hour. $10 large margaritas made with el Jimador tequila were a decent size and price, and they were tasty. The chips and salsa were complimentary, endless, and delicious. We split the Seared Red Snapper from the Spring Mariscos menu. It was pretty incredible, and easily fed us both- likely because our bellies were partially full of chips, salsa, and margaritas by the time the Snapper arrived. The rice served with it tasted oddly like Chinese fried rice which threw us off. The rice was edible, just unexpected and a bit salty.“

“This is a Veteran owned food truck with amazing Mexican cuisine. It's as good as it gets when it comes to Mexican food but it also sits at an outdoor covered taproom with a large selection of beer. It doesn't get much better that this.“

“This is a great place to get good food quickly, especially if you're looking for fast options that don't include ultra processed junk food. I get a veggie freebird when I go which is delicious and can be made a number of ways. The portion size is more than generous and you can order even bigger burritos/bowls. The creamy jalapeno sauce is fantastic and a little spicy so I'd recommend that. So the food is great, the people are great and it's an excellent value. Try it out.

Vegetarian options: A veggie burrito comes with guacamole included. Adding the fried potatoes is an upcharge unless you leave off the guac. A burrito can be made vegan.

“I mean, it is hard to rate atmosphere when they are in a 7-11. It's a convenience store. However, the tortillas are made fresh, at least on a Sunday, so it takes a little longer. We were visiting the area, but it was obvious there were regulars. They overfilled the tacos! So good! Would recommend. Good price, too.“
