“This is the place in town where all the cars were. Generous portions of really good food, with great explanations of the menu options and how the salad bar worked for folls not recognized as knowing the place. Friendly and attentive service while not being intrusive. Prices were reasonable.“

“My husband and I had occasion to be in Coldspring a couple weeks ago at lunch time. We visited The Hop and we're impressed to enjoy a delicious, freshly made burger with fries. Definitely not a fast food burger, but large and juicy freshly cooked. And the fries were so crispy and good. Will definitely return if we're in the area.“

“We had a meeting at The Family restaurant and the snacks were fantastic. Really it was more than a snack and it was set up in a way that did not interrupt our meeting. Real home cooking is what you get and super friendly people serving. FYI, the daiquiris were refreshing after the meeting too.“
