I attended the Slaton Bakery Banana Pudding Festival on Saturday, September 5th.
Wow what a great turnout! Many great vendors and excellent puddings made with Slaton Bakery wafers. Lady i hard they had already raised over 30k for charity. Some folks brought antique and hot rod cars. My favorite was the '71 Fastback Mustang. Had some beautiful old tractors. We stopped here for snacks on our road trip. The pastries and banana pudding were fantastic!
I miss living near Slaton, but make a point of going to the bakery every time I visit family in the area. Best hojarascas on the planet . . . and everything else is also stellar.
