The service was great and they were very helpful helping you order how you wanted your food.
Staff was friendly, restaurant was clean and well lit. Food came very quickly but seemed just a bit off, I had the lunch fajita burrito, and I am unsure how to describe it but it was just a bit off. I would love to try this place again but unfortunately I am only here for work today. I would solidly give a 4.7 star realistically, but as it stands I think 4 star reviews stand out well anyways.
Never had a bad meal here. We asked for a tajin rimmed glass for our shrimp cocktail and they did it for us. The shrimp are huge and there is plenty of it.

El Mexicano Grill offers great food and service, with a very nice and hardworking staff. The salsa is exceptional and the flavors are fantastic, complemented by excellently thin, crisp, and fresh chips. Their Migas dish is a must-try, especially with a scoop of queso on top. The menu also features tender Carne Guisada and mini tacos al pastor, which are absolutely delicious. For those wanting something simple, the ground beef crispy tacos are highly recommended. Prices are reasonable, and tipping the staff is encouraged. The restaurant boasts a quaint Mexican Cafe atmosphere and has its own parking lot. It is one of the best sit-down Mexican food spots in Smithville, Texas, with quick and friendly service, making it a family-friendly dining choice.
