La Cabana Reviews
Went there after a T-ball game last Wednesday night. It was not busy at all. We ordered our drinks and queso. Waited 20 mins for someone to come take our order. Finally got someone. Our order was wrong. The tables across from us also were having issues. Husband went to pay bill gave us a dollar off our meal. This place use to be so good to us, and they always wonder why we don’t come back. They need more wait staff. The waitress and the only waitress they have is not very friendly...read full review
We stopped by on way back to my home. Made a to go order (should have checked it before leaving.)
Got home with wrong order which had items I’m allergic to, plus was charged for that more expensive meal as well.
I called yesterday and was told to call back at a certain time. I did. Then was told to call back today. I did. Excuses were busy on Sundays, if a problem you must resolve first day (I tried.), come back for a replacement meal, etc.
Sorry, I’m done.

La Cabana is a small-town favorite with surprisingly good food and a nice atmosphere. The crispy beef taco and shrimp brochette are standouts, though some dishes could use a bit more flavor. The friendly service and great music make for a pleasant dining experience. The menu lacks mole, but the quail dish is a must-try, crispy and flavorful. The restaurant offers a delicious Sunday buffet with a variety of options, including chicken and beef fajitas, cheese enchiladas, beef tacos, and sides like rice and beans. Customers praise the large portions, authentic taste, and great value of the meals. The California burrito is a popular choice, described as flavorful, fresh, and substantial. The service is attentive, and the overall atmosphere is chill and friendly. With plenty of parking, this hidden gem on the way to Austin is definitely worth a stop for delicious, unexpected meals.
