This is my family's favorite restaurant. We love all the appetizers, the steaks, chicken fried steak (my absolute favorite), and the hamburger steak. Everything here is good, over the years we've tried the whole menu.
Little country dinner with large portions. Got the small chicken fried steak and let's just say it is double the size of other places normal one. Staff was friendly. Local crowd.

I saw this place on the Texas Bucket list show years ago and finally made it. The chicken fried bacon was on the show, so I knew I had to try it. It's good but it's one of those eat it once in your life due to the sheer health factor ?. The chicken fried steak was cooked to perfection. It was very large, and splitting the large is the way to go.
Home of the original Chicken Fried Bacon. Sodolak's has been on my bucket list for years. It was amazing. The ladies who took care of me were so sweet when I showed up ten minutes before closing. They took such good care of me. I told the ladies I was checking it off my bucket list. Honestly, I will be back for the steaks. The walls are covered with shirts from the fire school students who call Sodolack's home.

Vegetarian options: I'm pretty sure the cattle the steaks came from were fed great vegetation cause they were delicious.
