I had been here once before. Years ago, pre-plandemic. I checked online to verify it was still open Visited late afternoon. The place is fairly small- maybe 20-25 tables. There was a couple but they left minutes later. I ordered a cacao drink, because I asked if they had zanahoria-naranja (carrot-orange) drink and they did not. Came here for my birthday dinner with my friends and family and words can't describe how great our experience was. Living in Houston there is not much Nicaraguan places around but compared to Miami This place is 100% authentic and the ambiance makes you feel like you are actually sitting in the city of Granada vibing to Palo de mayo and traditional Nicaraguan music The food is family style tastes just like home and is so good every bite you take makes you hungrier! My bf always wanted to take me here but I thought I wasn't going to like the food. Until we went two weeks ago, and let's just be honest. It was very chaotic since it is not that big inside, or has a lot of parking. BUT, the food is worth it. I love the carne de res with the gallo pintos, salad, etc. It is so good.
