“The restaurant was nice and very spacious, and the waitress was very pleasant. We had a frozen Margarita and one on the rocks. The prices were fairly standard and the drinks were pretty good. We also ordered cheese enchiladas and the flautas de Pollo. Presentation of our plates was great, everything looked very appetizing. The only complaint I have is that the chili con queso is more like a canned cheese sauce than an actual queso.“

“We visited Mingo’s for the first time today, and had a great experience! The restaurant itself is small, but has a great atmosphere with some really neat murals on the walls. We tried the rice bowl with pork belly, the brussels sprouts, and the loaded fries with brisket. Everything was delicious! I especially liked the mango pico and Mingo’s sauce on the bowl. The brussels sprouts were incredible as well. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend Mingo’s to anyone in the area!“

“Food is a bit expensive, but that's most locations in downtown. I love going here -- its one of my favorite places. They used to have tacos de nopales for vegans, but they don't anymore. they have quesadillas for vegetarians. Their margs are really good. They have breakfast options.“

“At Mamajuana in downtown Houston, the food's alright—nothing to rave about, but it'll do. The DJ brings the vibe, and they even busted out sparklers and danced for my birthday bash, which was a blast. The speak easy's a cool addition, but it's not the spot for deep chats ‘cause it gets pretty loud. People were more into chatting than dancing, but it was still a good time. If you're up for a lively night out, Mamajuana's got you covered!“

“A wonderful experience at Toro Toro. We ordered the filet mignon medium rare and my son said it’s the best steak he’s ever tasted. We also loved the lobster mac and cheese! My cocktail arrived in a glass bottled and was poured into the glass. Our server (I wish I could recall his name) was the most astute and professional server ever. He was on point and showed interest in my son’s basketball team. We also enjoyed breakfast here. The host staff was so friendly both times. I cannot say enough good things about this place!“

“Brunch has 1/2 price champagne bottles, with 3 different juice flavors( pomegranate, mango, orange) , so you can mix & match. I had Chilaquiles de Pollo en Salsa de Chile Guajillo (spicy). Two eggs over easy, shredded chicken, tortilla chips, salsa guajillo, avocado, garnished with queso fresco, sour cream, cilantro and served with black beans. 10/10 My guest had the Migas. Scrambled eggs cooked with tortilla chips, onions, bell peppers and melted cheddar cheese. Served with pinto beans and guacamole salad The service was amazing. Our waiter had all the ingredients Memorized all the ingredients & was helpful with allergy questions. We sat on the outdoor patio. I was an amazing day so weather was perfect. My guest unfortunately has a fear of birds, & they were definitely dropping down on the rails waiting for easy meals. It made her nervous. Other than that we had a wonderful amazing brunch. Don't miss out on delicious meals & great mimosas.“

“This place is amazing. It’s so lovingly and cleverly executed, and the vibe is comfortable and versatile. Casual dive bar aesthetic quietly shows its underlying class with a mariachi Magritte that’s perfectly on theme, and that subtle excellence is par for the night. The infused tequilas are an artistic masterpiece, and speaking to Chelseana I was impressed by the dedication and attention to detail of every aspect of this must-visit spot. It’s a perfect demonstration of what the corner bar can aspire to be. You should probably try the fish tacos…just sayin…Put it on your list today!“

“This is the second my wife and I eat here. The first time the Pupusas were alright but the main entrees were amazing. This time we only tried main entrees and it didn’t disappoint. The food and the service was on point. We’ll try going a 3rd time in a few weeks to give the Pupusas a try again, hopefully they’re better. Nonetheless, the food at this restaurant is great!“

“Jonathan was honestly great. He was very attentive and even made me aware that he saw me as I was walking up. He was very patient as I had to unlock my card for my purchase to go through. The food and drink was delivered quickly and everything was fresh and delicious. Great job all around.“

“Growing up near the heights taco nazo on Fulton in north side has always been my go to when it came to tacos so I was shocked to find out there is a taco nazo on the Southside of houston. At first I thought it was an imposter but we came last night and they taste just like the ones in north side. Can someone confirm if NS taco nazo is the OG and these are simply relatives or what ? Food: the tacos and quesadillas were amazing. Top G. Just like the ones you get from taco nazo on Fulton. Full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The tacos and quesadillas seemed a little bit bigger too than the ones I am used to getting in the NS. They also have tortas at this location. You don't see that at the one in NS. I would definitely come back. They line wasn't as long as Ns either. They were very fast and nice. Got us in and out pretty quickly. I'll definitely come back to this SS location asap. Like asap rocky. If someone knows the history of taco nazo let me know. I've also been to the one on Longpoint it's good but the use different cheese and their tacos are tiny. I have also tried the one off Irvington. Pretty solid as well. Stop in and give them A try if you want some amazing tacos.“

“Very interesting selection of Asian fusion dishes. The quality and value were very good. The special of the day (roast beef) was very flavorful and the grilled chicken tikis was as well. We also had a very nice Brussels sprout salad. The wait for our food was reasonable and it was fresh. Definitely one of our favorite stalls at Post.“
“They recommended it to me because it was a place that sells medicine and my surprise was that I actually found what I was looking for. The price depends on the consumer's preference since tablets and/or capsules will always be cheaper than injections, for example. They have a very good assortment of pharmaceutical products ?As something extra to mention, they have 3 branches and if you choose some type of injectable medicine, in the branch that is located on La Scardel and 45 you have the option of putting it right there, something that I see as good for those people who struggle to find someone from trust?“
“Best Birria tacos I've had. Reasonably priced. 4 Birria tacos with consume & salsa for $13. Their salsa Verde is amazing. You can call in an order for faster service. Inside seating is less than 20. I can't wait to try more of their food. Very friendly staff. Bilingual.Parking: Small shopping center“

“This place was super awesome! We were traveling thru town and stopped in for some authentic cooking and some great food. We asked for some house recommendations that were not typical and we were pleasantly surprised! Food was great, staff was very fun and friendly (and helpful), and I would recommend this place to anyone. Will definitely make it a point to stop in here again when we travel back this way!“
“There might be a little bit of a language barrier sometimes but aren't all of the best places family owned and operated? The fresh tortillas are some of the best I've ever had and the meats are delicious. I'll regularly pick up a couple pounds of barbacoa and carnitas for team meals and it never disappoints. Watch out for that red salsa -it's got a kick!“

“Came in hoping to have a great beef or chicken soup but they don't have that here at a Mexican restaurant. Settled for a chicken tortilla soup in a bowl but it really was a small bowl. The amount of chicken was great, lots of cheese but to me it seems to be missing something. The chips and salsa were good. The sweet tea was good too. The ambience is casual with great music playing in the background. The service could have been better but I've had worse and it was only 11:30 am when we came in. This has only been y second time coming here only because I was in the area. I remember their adult drinks used to be good but it's been awhile. Their prices are up there for the amount served. 4 stars for amount served and $$“

“We were looking for an Ecuadorian restaurant and were not disappointed. They have a variety of different South American food options. Everything was delicious! We ordered yucca fries, sweet plantains and guanabana juice for kids and they loved it. The mixed seafood ceviche was spicy and tasty. My husband ordered loaded fries and coconut shrimp curry and everything was really good.“

“I order the Gordos Combo once a week for dinner. My family of four loves it. It is reasonably priced for a huge meal. You get a whole chicken, rice, beans, salad, fried plantains, and salchipapa (hot dog sausages and fries). The green dipping sauce for the chicken is spicy and delicious. Great food and value! Highly recommended!“
