“Just moved to spicewood area from San Diego and was pleasantly surprised to find delicious Mexican food. Had heard all about Tex Mex and wasn’t looking forward to it. This was great authentic Mexican food. Will definitely be back again soon.”

“this review is for the new Rexburg location in Mother hibbards have stopped in there four times within the last week to try the food and they never have anything in the warmer. no pizzas nothing. I went in there tonight. no food in the warmer. the kids that work there are sitting on the floor up against the wall doing absolutely nothing. Do they only serve Pizza at lunch and zero food for dinner? there's nothing anywhere that says what times they have food what time? they don't have food so tonight I went from hangar 54 right over to Valley wide and got me a personal pizza and now I'm headed to work.”

“Best tacos around!! A staple Spicewood food trailer for me. I have been enjoying “Compadres Tacos” since they opened years ago! Compadres is hands down the best tasting and best value food trailer in Spicewood. The owner and his family are genuine and committed to great service! My pro-tip is to call your order in ahead of time because the space is tight inside when it’s busy. If needed, ask for English, there’s always someone to help!! :) it’s the breakfast tacos and lunch tacos for me”

“Its pricey but wow what a menu and engaging service. Everyone that worked there was genuinely excited about their job and passionate about the menu. Alot of pride in their work from chef to hostess. Fast and friendly Valet as well.”

“It doesn’t get anymore “Texas” than Gary P. Nunn performing at Poodie’s Roadhouse. This experience was everything I wanted it to be. Great music cold beer friendly people even one of the best burgers you will ever have all in a real deal Texas Roadhouse! If we lived closer we’d be there every week! I can’t say enough good things! This was truly one of the best musical experiences I’ve ever been to! Great show! Poodie’s Roadhouse provided a great Texas experience. Special thanks to owner Sharon Burke for making our night so special! Get there in time to catch a beautiful sunset . Come hungry cause the burgers and other food is great! All of the regulars we talked to were friendly and welcoming. Put this on your list of must visits!”

“My wife and I had lunch here today. Super yummy, and we will go back. Next time I’ll ask for more spice, but the flavor was great! Portion size was ample, the “regular” will satisfy a single portion easily. A bit of a long wait, so try to call your order in to save some time.”

It's actually the best hottest sause that I know of. They make it fresh every day.
