In between volunteer sessions at the Insperity Senior PGA tournament, I needed a place to cool off and quaff a few brews to date my thirst. I was very pleasantly surprised to find the Flying Pug just a few minutes from the course to fully meet my needs.This is a fairly large bar built in the motif of an Irish Pub. A great sports bar with lots of food options and fantastic daily specials. Lots of TV screens for sports enthusiasts, as well as occasional DJ, live music, and other casual events. It’s a seat yourself spot (though no one told us until other customers did), and the service is pretty good (though when it’s busy it definitely slows down). The food was great all around and the drinks were cold and delicious. Atmosphere for me was fun and vibrant but I could see how maybe someone else may not be a fan. Lastly service was great the first two times but this last time it was a bit lacking in its quality but still good. All in all me and my wife will be frequent patrons
