“Really nice place and their food taste great“

“My friends and I found this spot online when we had a girls' trip. We decided to visit the place. We ordered sea food fish with rice, fried yam with sauce, and the suya. The food tastes so good, and the customer service too was on point.“

“Their pepper soup is always good flavor wise. Just wish they would offer different spice levels. I eat spicy food a lot but the last time the spice level was ridiculous. I’d suggest giving people the option to add more pepper if they’ll like as opposed to it being overly spicy. Last week it was perfect, last night it had my mouth on fire! It actually made me mad how spicy it was lol..I’d honestly probably order it every week, but I cannot stand the spice level sometimes. I’ve also had other friends who love to eat their food, but it’s just too spicy. Just something to consider if you want more business.“

“I ordered the fufu and some fish. Ahhahah, i didn't realize that it was a finger food, but i know better now. It was awesome!!!! I'm just coming back to Sugar Land, and I was browsing the menu when I realized that I hadn't left a review. This time, I want to try the goat. Be aware that this food is spicy, and if you have IBS, you had better ask for a mild portion!“

“This was my first weekend trying Nigerian food and Kofoshi was my 2nd stop. I ordered to vegetable dish with spinach, rice and plantains I challenged myself to the spices. My dish was full of flavor and the plantains were fried perfectly with a buttery crisp around the edges. It’s stared on my return list.“

“The food here is amazing! I loved everything we ordered. Everything was served beautifully and we didn't leave a bite. The spicy mami roll, spicy edamame and tuna tartar tots were some of our favorites. The creme brulee was great as well!! Service was top tier, we had a server named Mindi and she was incredible. “This was my second visit to Suya Hut. To be clear, I’m 50% Nigerian 50% American. The American side of causes me to be extremely picky with the desired tenderness of the meat LOL. I ordered okra soup and a large jollof rice. The food was absolutely amazing. The meat in the okra soup was so tender, I couldn’t believe it! Their food is ALWAYS made fresh (one of the many reasons I went back for a second time) so it’s best you call in 20-30 min before arrival if you’re in a rush or getting a carry out. Their service is warm, friendly and very inviting!

My 12 year old daughter asked me to make another trip to get more food for this week’s dinner. I forgot to take a photo of the food before I tasted it. Needless to say, it was gone before I could get a good photo!! LOL

“This was my first time here. I met the owners and let me say some of the most beautiful people I have ever met ! I just ate my food like 45 min after I left and it was still hot! Did I say that it’s delicious?! I ordered the beef egusi and beans. I’m so full off of the egusi I can’t touch the beans. The food is not expensive at all and it’s a lot of food! I also have a beef pie that is very delicious. Ms.Ophelia is the sweetest ever (owner) I love it there so much I will definitely be back.“

I placed the order, and since all the dates for a pick up were 2 weeks away, I left a little note on the feedback box indicating a need to pick up the order the following day by 5:30pm. About an hour later, I got a call from one of their associates confirming the pick-up date and time I chose and, most importantly, asking for my preference regarding what and how I want in the food.“

“I took my father-in-law to the restaurant to try their Fisherman Soup for sentimental reasons and the soup didn't disappoint. My son had their vegetable soup and both were top level. I tasted some of my son's soup and I can tell you it was the best vegetable soup I've had. We tried their Nkowbi and it didn't disappoint. Everything tasted like your grandma's village cooking. If you go, call then ahead of time because they prepare everything from scratch.“

“So i tried this place today. I am a sucker for a good customer service no matter who walk through your door(money is money). When I walked in the hostess was kinda cold so my first thought was another Nigeria place with attitude but I was determined to try it anyways, when the cook came out(I think she might be the owner) her attitude and presence was warm and friendly so needless to say I will be going back. As for the food.....Taste= 4/5 Portion= 5/5 cleanliness= 5/5 Customer service = 3/5“

She even gave me new food to try and a bottle of water before I left because it was my first time eating fufu and egusi. I will be back because at was treated kindly.“

“This was my first time visiting. I ordered the goat pepper soup, egusi soup, and jilof rice with jerk chicken to go. The pepper soup and egusi soup were amazing! I really enjoyed them. I was disappointed with the jilof rice and jerk chicken . Once I got home, I opened the container to see one small piece of chicken! It was the back part with very little meat. I spent a good amount of money there with a 20% tip. I didn't expect to receive that poor display of a to go order. I didn't even eat it. I do feel that if I had checked my order before leaving, they would have made it right, because the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I still recommend giving this place a try.“
