“Really nice place and their food taste great“

“Their pepper soup is always good flavor wise. Just wish they would offer different spice levels. I eat spicy food a lot but the last time the spice level was ridiculous. I’d suggest giving people the option to add more pepper if they’ll like as opposed to it being overly spicy. Last week it was perfect, last night it had my mouth on fire! It actually made me mad how spicy it was lol..I’d honestly probably order it every week, but I cannot stand the spice level sometimes. I’ve also had other friends who love to eat their food, but it’s just too spicy. Just something to consider if you want more business.“

“My friends and I found this spot online when we had a girls' trip. We decided to visit the place. We ordered sea food fish with rice, fried yam with sauce, and the suya. The food tastes so good, and the customer service too was on point.“

“I had an opportunity to go Kofochi Nigerian Restaurant all the way from ATL. Let me start by saying thar customer services and food were top notch. The decor was right on point and not to mention cleanliness of the place. I came with few of my friends, and we had Amala with abula, jollof rice and I had a fish. All the food was perfect. I will go back there when I make my way to Houston again.“

“We hosted our book club meeting here. It’s such a cute space. They had great little light bites during! Erica was our server and did a great job she was fast and efficient and friendly. They were all great hosts for our book club! Definitely need to check them out again.“

We typically eat from Nigerian restaurants , so this was our first time trying Ghanaian cooking. We ordered Egusi soup and meat pies , the service was quick and kind. We will definitely be back to try more of their menu items. Highly recommend“

“I took my father-in-law to the restaurant to try their Fisherman Soup for sentimental reasons and the soup didn't disappoint. My son had their vegetable soup and both were top level. I tasted some of my son's soup and I can tell you it was the best vegetable soup I've had. We tried their Nkowbi and it didn't disappoint. Everything tasted like your grandma's village cooking. If you go, call then ahead of time because they prepare everything from scratch.“

“I placed my order on Monday but got a Friday delivery date. I am unavailable Fridays hence I called and they gave me an accommodation, offering for me to pickup Thursday. I went and EVERYTHING was ready. A true professional service (huge respects to the brother in charge of handling catering orders….he was very professional and calm). Tho in fairness, ALL the staffs were very good. I appreciate the service and including the packaging. You guys clearly know your job and you do it well. Adetomiwa attended to me and he is the best person you’ll ever meet. His personality, service, maturity…..perfection all round. “I was in Houston for a wedding with my husband a couple of weeks ago and was so excited to find a Nigerian restaurant close to our hotel—Nativeport did not disappoint! From our very first order, the experience was nothing short of amazing, and it stayed that way for the four days we kept going back.

The owner was professional, dedicated, and most importantly, can seriously cook! I fell in love with food all over again. Everything we tried was authentic and delicious. I even ordered extra food to take back home to California, and she kindly froze everything to make sure it would travel well on my flight.

P.S. My last meal before flying out? Fried rice, plantain, and peppered goat meat—perfection!“

“I believe this is the place to be if you want to get the real african home taste. My first time experience was above expectation. I don't normally like egusi outside, but this exceeded by expectation

“5 stars because this is the best food I’ve ever had. I frequently get the egusi soup with catfish and poundo. I could eat it every day! The only thing I don’t like is the unnecessary teasing and small talk that some of the male cashiers try to have with me mostly because I’m introverted so i really appreciate when the younger female cashier is there. Her service is quick, friendly and efficient.“

“I found out about this restaurant on Google just by looking for restaurants in a specific zip code and I’m so glad I did. From the moment we walked in the owner was so warm and welcoming and the atmosphere was perfect, comfy seating and awesome music. The food is all cooked to order, so it comes out hot and fresh. I can’t put into words how delicious everything was... the greens were super flavorful, the goat was tender and delicious, the jollof just the right amount of spice, the fish has crispy skin and was super flaky. I’ll definitely be back many more times and I plan on bringing more ppl along with me ☺️.“
