“Houston, Seafood City has landed. After years of hoping that we would have one just like LA and Vegas, it's finally here. We love the variety of choices - groceries (yes, the ice cream), baked goods, meat, and of course, Seafood. Prices are better here as well. And they are fresh. We just wished that the location was more in central Houston, for convenience and accessibility for all. Better, too, if they had Jollibee and Chow King. Seafood City is still highly recommended for all, not just for Filipinos, if you don't mind the distance. Merry Christmas and a Healthy New Year to all.“

“I know how Filipino cuisine should taste being Filipino myself and tried Gerry’s Grill during my visit in Houston to satisfy my craving for Filipino food. The ambiance is very warm and welcoming. The wait staff are very attentive and courteous. The food didn’t fail to disappoint. I describe the food we ordered for dinner as sinfully good. Burp! Thank you, Gerry’s Grill. Until my next visit.“

“This is seriously one of my favorite places to eat! The food is absolutely delicious. The owners are also absolutely phenomenal people and so is everyone that works here. ❤️ Also they catered our baby shower and they were super accommodating with some special requests we had for the menu. Seriously you just can't go wrong with Flip n Patties!“

“Fun in the Village is the best! I tried the pork sisig and Kuya delivered some ube hopia—both were absolutely delicious. I would say they have the best sisig in town. The sisig arrived sizzling, the mixture was just right, and the hopia was super fresh. Kuya, very kind and caring. Perfect spot for authentic Filipino food and good vibes. Highly recommended!
p.s. They have karaoke“

“Delicious, authentic Filipino food, great selection and variety, fair prices for such huge portions and awesome customer service. The place is very clean and welcoming! Excellent and highly recommended!
Dietary restrictions: All the items we ordered were Well-seasoned and had just enough saltiness to bring out the flavors. Very willing to make adjustments with saltiness & spiciness upon request.
Parking: Plenty of parking spaces right in front of the restaurant.“

“You must get the gravy because everything tastes better with that gravy!! Chicken meh…6.5/10, but with the gravy, oh my! The spaghetti was also a fun experience! I was expecting hot dogs and sweet tomato sauce but the fact that it was smokey like Tex BBQ was a surprise! Oh and do not skip the pies!!“

“Magaling silang magluto—parang luto ng nanay ko! My experience at Filipiniana was overall positive, and I’m excited to share why. From the warm greeting at the entrance to my first plate, it felt like a trip back to the Philippines. I got to indulge in a variety of Filipino classics such as pancit, lumpia, beef kaldereta, kare-kare, pork BBQ, chicken and pork adobo, and a delightful spread of desserts.
The food is authentic, it’s like stepping into the heart of the Philippines. That is both the best and the most honest critique I can give. The flavors were spot-on delicious and familiar but like in many buffets back in the Philippines, a few dishes, like the lumpia, were cold or lacked consistency. Still, there wasn’t a single thing I didn’t enjoy. My personal favorites? The kaldereta and pork BBQ, hands down!
Don’t leave without trying their cantaloupe juice! It is fresh, sweet, and refreshing.
The price is very reasonable, which makes the experience even better. I’ll definitely be back for more Filipino comfort food!“

“We first came here to decorate the place for the birthday & Mother's Day celebration. The tinolang manok, adobong manok, beefsteak & turon were all good. Nay Lina & Arlyn were so accommodating & friendly. It's worth the visit & I highly recommend it to everyone.“
