This place really makes me feel like I'm back in the Philippines. It's a Turo-turo ("point-point") style stall where you pick your entrees and sides. The dining area is fit for Filipino parties, and when there isn't a Debut or a wedding to celebrate, there's manongs playing cards. We had the lechon kawali which as nice and crispy, the pork barbecue, and the pinakbet. This ain't no fusion place or some hipster spin. Just simple delicious home cooking with a home vibe.
I was craving home cooked filipino food so I ate here today upon a friend's recommendation. It's a simple cafeteria set up. There are about 8-10 different meat, fish and vegetable dishes. You pick 2 with a cup of rice at a very reasonable price. I picked kare-kare and jackfruit in coconut milk. Both were really tasty and delicious. My cravings were satisfied. At the first moment you step in that restaurant they give you a nice feeling. Very friendly stuff, it is a good restaurant to pass time with your friends or with your date. yummy cuisine, specialist chef de cuisine, reasonable cost and courteous service. Warmly recommended.
