I found Cookies Place accidentally. It’s a good 40 minute drive for me, but well worth it.
I first had their double meat cheeseburger. It was the best burger I had in 5 years. I t was so good I dragged friend & neighbors.
My neighbor & I made the pilgrimage before a planned night of beers with friends. We both opted for the chicken fried steak. I did mashed potatoes with gravy & green beans. It was good enough for me to take time for a review.

Cookie's Place is a small town cafe that serves outstanding home-style cooking. The menu features dishes such as BLT, burgers, fries, cheese burgers, grilled chicken sandwiches, and chicken fried steak. The portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable. The service is awesome, and the staff is friendly. The cafe also has a buffet available during lunch hours. With plenty of parking and driveways, it's an ideal spot for full-time RV'ers.
