“The smoke flavor was prominent and delicious. The pork ribs and brisket had a nice smoke ring with a semi-spicy, peppery bark. The potato salad was very good, but the beans were a little bland.The bartender's special margarita was fantastic.My only complaints are:The pulled pork was a little dry, but the sauce helped a lot.The pork ribs tasted great, but they were not quite fall-off-the-bone. It was more like competition ribs with a heavy bite mark.My chair was just an uncomfortable folding chair.“
“If you’re in Terlingua for a visit, this really is a must-stop visit. Managed to come here twice on our trip and weren’t disappointed. Service is great and the bar itself is really cool. Everyone is very friendly and I recommend trying their Tequila Cave-aid, especially after a day being in the desert heat. Highly recommend this spot for just drinks or dinner.“
