The location is great for visiting the Big Bend area including both the National and State parks, Terlingua, etc.The rooms were clean and have a microwave and mini fridge. Air conditioner worked great. I don't think there was a TV (honestly did not even look to turn one one of there was one). Wifi was spotty but, again, we had a large group. Set the stage by saying most of us are in the region for either exploring the area or outdoor adventure. With that in mind, we want a bed and clean room to come back to at end of the day. The Longhorn Ranch is extremely clean with only the basics of amenities. Staff are so helpful and food in restaurant great. The place lends perfectly to any adventure seeking party who is into modest accommodation. Highly recommend or area and price point.
MY husband, son and daughter in law used a site at the small RV site's that they offer. Which is find because we wanted to be way from a lot of people and lights so that we could get a veiw of the night sky, and boy did we ever! It was spectacular! If you want to see the Milkyway and a night sky full of brilliant stars and planets, go there!
