“If you’re in Terlingua for a visit, this really is a must-stop visit. Managed to come here twice on our trip and weren’t disappointed. Service is great and the bar itself is really cool. Everyone is very friendly and I recommend trying their Tequila Cave-aid, especially after a day being in the desert heat. Highly recommend this spot for just drinks or dinner.“
“After driving and hiking all day, I must say this pizza REALLY hits the spot. Highly recommend. The restaurant is part of the country club, but they take orders for those unaffiliated as well. I ordered the Candelilla, which was absolutely delicious and pretty plentiful for a personal pie (was debating the medium pie just for myself as I was starving). All of the ingredients tasted fresh, and the crust was properly crisp, allowing it to sort of sustain its form while approaching the mouth. Overall, an awesome pizza. Staff is super chill and nice. “Kyle went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and to make sure we were enjoying our visit and the food. He was super friendly and personable. He had a sense of urgency yet still took time with each customer. I would be back just for Kyle’s service alone. The mozzarella sticks came out quickly and tasted fresh. They were nice and piping hot. The pizza came out in a good time and fairly quick. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. We ordered a small sausage pizza and a medium “Coyote” pizza. Very tasty.“
