“Aun is doing something right. This is the quintessential hometown donut shop that not only delivers delicious food, but a sense of community and camaraderie. The sweet smell of fresh donuts hits you instantly upon entering. Don’t get me wrong, this place is no frills; what you see is what you get, but what you get is damn good. The kolaches are pillowy soft and the donuts melt in your mouth. I understand why their parking lot is always full whenever I drive by.“

Although we were there for breakfast in the middle of the week, and no buffet, we ordered from the menu and were very pleased with our food. The waitress (Vanessa) was outstanding and provided superb service to our table. Will definitely eat there again when in Galveston.“

Update 11-22-2025 1:00am: Another night without Oscar as our server… the lady failed to make our order right on multiple levels despite telling her what we wanted twice. When she realized part of the order was incorrect due to Oscar checking on us, she tried to shift the blame on the cook and even Oscar despite him being the one to help us out in the first place. Again, Oscar is the only good night shift server. Promote him to night manager.“
