Gus' Restaurant is permanently closed. The owner recently died and they never recovered the sales from pre-Covid. The family of the owner decided to shut down.

Gus' Restaurant was known for great food and wonderful service. The filet Mignon was perfectly cooked and taste was great, better than Perry's at half the cost. The steak was cooked to perfection and seasoned very well. The onion rings were so fresh and the rings were a nice size. The crawfish étouffée was great, with a creamy sauce and plenty of crawfish. The chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes was delicious, with outstanding gravy and tender steak. The salads and dressings were very good. The homemade chocolate cake was heated up. The wait staff was super friendly and attentive. Everyone had a smile on their face. The hostess, waitresses, and bartender were wonderful. The cook was awesome. They went out of their way to make something to keep guests happy. There was plenty of parking. It is a strip mall.
