“I love this place! The girls behind the bar do a great job at making drinks. They aren’t just bottle poppers. The chips and salsa are some of the best in the area. Although I usually get the same 3 things, I hear everything is pretty good. The rice and beans are about par. The charro beans are delicious. Best tostadas I’ve had since I don’t know when. Frozen margaritas are 4/5. I really can’t beat it when they’re at the end of my street.“

Corner Pocket Bar in Galveston absolutely knocked it out of the park! 🥪 The sandwich was made with freshly sliced Boar’s Head meats and cheese, and those Maui Onion chips were TO DIE FOR! 🤤

I literally thought about this sandwich all night… 😂 That’s how good it was!

“Hidden gem!! We dined-in during our trip over Memorial Day 2021 and we were surprised with how delicious the food was. The salsa that came with the chips & salsa was super flavorful but not overly spicy. Their crab balls are Amazeballs!! You HAVE to order them! So yummy! Best I’ve had anywhere. The Cajun seafood pasta is delicious and is served in a massive portion that can easily be split between 2 people. Generous serving with lots of shrimp, sausage, and chicken. The fried pickles were fantastic. Sharp dills, great thickness, light batter. I ordered a side of red beans & rice as my main dish and it has a great texture and a hint of tart vinegar...would be best paired with cornbread or the amazing crab balls. I had a regular margarita on the rocks. It was ok. It was the most mediocre thing we ordered...so you KNOW the food is good. The music is great. We were here on Saturday from 8:30-10pm and the playlist was a great mix of Motown jams. 10/10 would recommend The Fish Place. We Absolutely recommend dining at this hidden gem!“
