“Are you missing local good barbecue? Well, miss no more, because the Hawaiian brothers luau pig platter is awesome. And if your hula girl wants something lighter, there's several chicken dishes including teriyaki. It's possible that if this place had been around in 1942 the Japanese never would never have dared to bomb ?Vegetarian options: They have a vegetable platter“
“I recently visited with a friend, we had a very robust munching experience with the pineapple soft serve, mac & cheese, as well as the succulent Honolulu chicken. Overall, i give this spot 9.8/10. The customer service was amazing; the employees are very attentive as well as service oriented. Would Recommend!?“
“Love it. It's quite unfortunate that I spilled teriyaki sauce on myself. I tried to blame everyone nearby, but seems I can only blame myself. Great food and great drinks! Just make sure you open your eyes when you open a sauce container.“
“My husband went for the first time in person a few days ago but he enjoyed his experience! His server, Christina, made it clear what options there were and the differences between each sizes in the chicken dishes. We’ve had the Huli Huli chicken which is always great, but this time he had the large Kilauea chicken dish. It was supposed to be their spicier dish but didn’t have much of a kick to it. Also, he got the large thinking it would be more chicken but it was really only more portions for the size. Shrinkflation hits all.Either way, Christina was a great server, attentive and responsive and helped out with any questions he had. It’s a clean restaurant and they have kiosks to order on your own. Would go again!Parking: Shared lot“
“I wanted something quick and fast before running errands. My husband and I shared a large bowl of poke. We were given 2 bowls of miso soup even though we only ordered one. Usually poke places are self serve and more like a fast food joint, but the service was excellent!! Even better, food was good. I will definitely be back!“
“All our food seemed very fresh and tasted on par.In comparison to other great poke spots, we felt this one came in a bit short, but convenient and a good option for poke to go!Everything was clean and looked to be new. Food came out fast, we stopped in on a Tuesday afternoon, place was quiet and no line.I thought the beef dumplings / gyozo lacked some flavor.“
“The food is very tasty, the service very friendly, the place very clean. We live closer to Hawaiian Bros but will be making the drive further out to this delicious gem! The manager was so courteous and so kind to our kids. It's also very affordable.“
“Found this place by chance, SO SO GOOD. Whether you are visiting or live in the area, please try this place. The food is fresh and flavorful, the atmosphere is welcoming and clean, and the staff are soooooo super friendly. They also have complimentary miso soup and it was the best miso soup ever!!! Highly recommend!“
“This store seemed empty when I came in before noon today, but then customers started trickling in after, most were to-go orders.Even though it said Hawaiian barbecue, you could see a few Filipino dishes like tosilog thatI ordered. The fried egg was a bit burnt, but the rice and tocino portion were huge! If you’re hungry, then this portion will definitely make you extra full. And I ordered the regular portion! All in all, the food is alright, just a bit too oily.“
“I got the build your own salmon and tuna pokè bowl with a seaweed salad, avocado, mango, masago, and edamame. Definitely my favorite poke place that hit the sushi craving on a budget. The location is nice. Well kept and clean. The employees are friendly and nice. The food is delicious and served quickly and presented pretty. We’ll be back again soon.“
“Came here today and was served by the owner. Extremely nice person and walked us through their different options. The food was incredible tasting and fresh. Had the spam roll and a macaron ice cream and those were a 10/10 as well. I think I found my new favorite spot with this place.“
“teriyaki chicken is my go to dish from a lot of places we go and without question, Shaka Hawaiian is hands-down the very best! I drive 15 minutes for takeout on a regular basis.I always only get the teriyaki chicken however, my son loves their fried fish and shrimp. We have eaten here at least a dozen times and each time is consistently exemplary. The customer service is also impeccable . always friendly, always very fast and always delicious! (sounds like a commercial I know but is is true)“
