“I had the peanut butter açaí bowl. The açaí puree was very good. I appreciated the smooth texture of it mixed with the fruit and granola. The peanut butter was drizzled on top which I feel should have been mixed into the puree. Otherwise it was a great flavor combination.“

Chloe took my order and guessed that I wanted my lil bit of soft top before I even asked. She was happy, energetic, complimented my shirt, and gave all the directive I see lacking some times at other locations I go to. 10/10 on Chloe and her fellow crew (bc I get scared the chipper attitude doesn’t mean my custom coffee will be on point) My order was EXACTLY as I would’ve received at home. Wish that team worked at some of the other Houston location.“

We were immediately greeted as soon as we walked in by a super sweet little smiling blonde and a group of other smiling, friendly teens. These kids seemed happy and excited to be there and eager to serve. We all got AMAZING ice cream and service and will be Handel's regulars for sure. My main reason for this review is for the owner to know what an AMAZING group of kids you have working this store. You rarely see young kids these days that engage with people and can actually have conversations with adults. This was on 6/28/24 So thank you for such a delicious and fun treat!“

“It is a small, nice, clean place. But I must say that it is a little more expensive than other places that sell the same products. Apparently their specialty is strawberries with cream because we ate there and everyone asked for strawberries with cream. I tried the strawberries with cream and they are very good but the nuts seem to be of very low quality or very old and that makes it take away from their signature dish. If you go, you should ask for them without nuts. Maybe we will come back to try some other different dishes.“
