We were immediately greeted as soon as we walked in by a super sweet little smiling blonde and a group of other smiling, friendly teens. “I try to eat at The toasted yolk every chance I get when traveling. The service at this location was excellent. I sat at the bar and the bartender was fast, efficient and friendly. She had two very difficult young ladies to wait on and she handled it perfectly with a smile“

“I just wanted the chicken patties and that's what I came here for. I came, I saw, I conquered. There was only one single employee working the entire shop when I came on Thursday afternoon, and she was really sweet. She even offered to give me a sample of the Karak tea, when I asked her how much milk it had. She sensed my indecision. Upon trying it, it was definitely a bit heavy for those who have sensitive stomachs or SIBO (small intestinal bacterial overgrowth), only because it naturally contains milk and I'm lactose-intolerant and GI-challenged. But, it is truly the authentic karak tea and I felt like I was back at the airport in Karachi, Pakistan. Great karak tea (does have sugar).

I also got two chicken patties; the employee attested to its freshness when I asked. It was definitely pricy for what I got! The patties themselves were quite good. Did not try the dessert buns, but other reviewers can clearly comment on their high accolades!“

“It is a small, nice, clean place. But I must say that it is a little more expensive than other places that sell the same products. Apparently their specialty is strawberries with cream because we ate there and everyone asked for strawberries with cream. I tried the strawberries with cream and they are very good but the nuts seem to be of very low quality or very old and that makes it take away from their signature dish. If you go, you should ask for them without nuts. Maybe we will come back to try some other different dishes.“
