Friendly and helpful with menu and very attentive to us and our needs. Food was excellent. Dessert Bananna pudding and Blackberry cobbler Ala mode. We will go back every time we are in Houston. “It was my first time coming here for lunch for my birthday and it was amazing. I ordered the stone crab claws that are in season, $9.50 for medium claws and $36 ish for the jumbo (per claw). I ordered 3 medium stone crab claws, they had differing textures which I thought was weird, but it was good overall, more meat than I thought. The Parmesan bread and lump crab cake were phenomenal. They only give one crab cake on a puddle of sauce (not pictured) but the one cake was out of this world delicious. The baked Alaska was so good, we got it for my birthday too. The sauté was amazing and the shrimp and scallop were perfectly cooked. We paid $232 for 3 people so it wasn’t bad. Our waitress was super sweet and knowledgeable. Not sure her name but she wore glasses and a messy bun.“

He showed us how to order and even checked in on us a few times. I ordered the ham and cheese omelette with a side of French toast! I’m already planning on going again tomorrow for breakfast again!“

“Went for brunch yesterday with friends and the customer service was top notch!!! Genuinely kind staff who went above and beyond for us. My youngest has FA and they greeted us upon entry and let me know how to discuss the allergens with the staff. We got the counter to order and I kept it simple with just bacon and fruit for my ANA kid to make it easier on everyone but the staff member made sure to let the kitchen know about cross contamination. When we looked at desserts the staff was highly knowledgeable about what desserts had allergens and which had cross. Their knowledge of ingredients and honesty over a sale was phenomenal. On top of that, there was a young gentlemen (whose name I can’t remember) but he ensured our food was perfect and that we enjoyed our meal. Just kind people all around. It was such a nice and relaxing time out that we usually don’t get with FA. Thank you so much for this. Will be back.“

“It was our first time there. We went on the recommendation of an acquaintance. We throughly enjoyed it! Our waiter, Spencer, did an excellent job explaining the menu and specials to us. The food was outstanding!! They even treated my boyfriend to a free serving of bread pudding for his birthday. It's on the expensive side but totally worth it! We will definitely return when we are in the area.“

“My suegro is from Guadalajara, Jalisco so we thought we’d try this place and we were not disappointed at all. We tried cocktails, the trompito al pastor, the torta, the sopes, and the guava cheesecake and all of it was delicious. We went during lunch time and the service was great with very little wait time for our orders to come out. And the suggestions our server made were on point. Even later that evening when we reheated our leftovers they packed up for us, the al pastor was still so tender and flavorful. I experienced a medical emergency towards the end of our visit and we had to leave abruptly, but I’m already looking forward to returning. I only got two sips into my cafe de olla before we had to leave, but I’m still day dreaming about it! Highly recommend ending the meal with some cafe.“

I ordered the lunch special Mongolian beef with fried rice and hot and sour soup.

The hot and sour soup did not have enough sour in it, and overall, it was a little too starchy as well.

The Mongolian beef was okay. There was a char coal, smoky taste to it that overpowered the scallions. The fried rice helped with getting rid of some of that charcoal smoky flavor from the beef.

“I come here every week with my boyfriend and out of all the waitresses Maggie is hands down and by far the best. She’s very sweet, attentive, friendly, and overall I don’t feel judged compared to some others that have served us. It’s always delightful when we have her as our waitress. Highly recommend the snooze classic and the Juan breakfast tacos we get this everytime!!“

“I’ve never been a fan of the food here on multiple occasions, it’s come out with an odd smell, almost like a wet dog, which is definitely off-putting. That said, I still come back from time to time because the overall experience is genuinely fun. It’s a great spot to take a date, with a unique atmosphere and a aesthetic setup. Plus, the employees are always very kind and welcoming, which makes a big difference.“

“Great selection of breakfast entrees personally like cowboy scramble and wife had brisket scramble. Both were large enough to have breakfast today with plenty left over for tomorrow's breakfast. You might consider having BBQ sauce available for the brisket scramble.
Had their version of shrimp and grits today different but good.

Update last Sunday and service left a lot to be desired 3 of the 4 orders were wrong. The regular coffee tasted very old. The decaf coffee drinkers had to wait not once but twice to get coffee, refills were fe and far between. I hope this is an anomaly but if there is a repeat that's the last time I'll go there.

A reason to stop there was fine. They were back to their normal quality. You've not only coffee, they were very busy so service was a tad slow but bit adequate I enjoyed their double decker omelette with grits and a biscuit and it was very nice. Certainly amble quality and quantity“

We were able to reserve a table and they set us up in a very nice spot upstairs at the back. Server had no issue with 11 separate checks for a group of twelve! Will be back!“

“somehow, here in The Woodlands, surrounded by all of this top-notch real estate, luxury retail, and global cuisine sits Dosey Doe; small town, cozy coffee shop vibe, the coffee perfect, they got breakfast on lock, the country potatoes and farmer’s sausage is great. This has been my family go to breakfast spot for 15 years.“

“A quick visit to the Woodlands and found this quaint coffee shop. I like that they keep it simple in terms of size of coffee cup. Pretty much two for hot coffee and 1 for cold/iced coffee. They have all the milks we would like such as almond, soy or oat. And for someone from CA, that is extremely important. I ordered a vanilla latte with an extra shot. Here, the standard serving is two shots. I typically drink quad grandes from Starbucks, so I knew I needed at least 3 shots for a 12 Oz cup. I prefer a strong roasted coffee, and this was not it. However, it was smooth, creamy with the oat milk, and just the right amount of vanilla. It was perfect...I just prefer that punch you get from strong roasted coffee's like from Peets or Philz. Nevertheless, if I were in the area again, I would definitely go back.

I also ordered an almond croissant. That was a delicious treat that melted in my mouth. I don't know where they sources their pastries, but it was the best almond croissant I've ever had. It was warmed, but better than that was the filling itself. It was plentiful, buttery, and went well with the crispy, almond topped crust. IT WAS HEAVEN!!!!

Lastly, their service was impeccable! Very friendly staff. As I walked in, the gentleman taking orders made eye contact, and said, "welcome in" with a smile. He asked my name when I finished ordering, and he actually listened as I said and spelled out GRAY. Go to Starbucks and other establishments, no matter the spelling, they write Greg.

Anyway, overall a very pleasant experience. Texas may win me over after all.“
