I always struggle to choose between the fresh-cut fruit and the broccoli cheese soup because both are fantastic. Whenever I have out-of-town visitors, this is the first place I bring them for lunch. It’s a must-visit in Tool, Texas on Cedar Creek Lake!”

I had the sirloin steak with mac and cheese: the steak was seasoned very well, cooked nicely, and topped with butter. It was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had! The mac and cheese was warm and delicious as well. I also tried the burger with grilled onions; it came out hot, seasoned perfectly, and was accompanied by equally delicious fries. “Breakfast with family in from out of town.I wasn't up to making breakfast for everyone and this cute little lakeside store/Cafe is just likevisiting Grandma's on Saturday morning.We ordered fried eggs, toast, bacon and hash browns. All cooked to perfection and my hubby got pancakes which were light and fluffy and too much for him to finish.There's plenty of room to sit at available tables in the Cafe.The service is great and the staff is super sweet.The tea and coffee is freshly made.Highly recommend for dine in or take out.Their breakfast biscuits are delicious.”

They are always so welcoming and Perk always remembers who we are and what my order is. “as a devoted garlic bread cheesy bread connoisseur, i can say with certainty that the cheesy bread i got a milano’s is the BEST IVE EVER HAD. im not even exaggerating. im going to be dreaming about that crispy cheesy garlicky goodness for years to come. the ratio of cheese to bread was perfect and not too cheesy, it was crispy without taking away from the melty-ness, and the seasoning was IMMACULATE and probably the highlight of the dish. absolutely decadent.”
