“You cannot expect such great service from such a small town. The best Mexican food for the price. Byob, the ownership and service make you feel like family! Bravo to the kitchen staff! You HAVE to come here and be part of the "Hacienda", they are family!“

“Really just need a readable menu for hands, if you don't know what you want and get to the register you're just going to have to stare at the walls like it was your 7th grade girlfriend's bedroom everything just kind of like up there randomly. This is probably not a problem for most but could improve“

“Weve been twice now and both times the food was incredible! Ive tried the cheese enchiladas with nachos and the chicken fajita dinner, both were delicious especially the charro beans. The hibiscus fresca is also very good. The staff are friendly, and very courteous. Such a good find!!“

“We use to Love Mr. Taco Jr. but the last 4 times we've been around 3pm on Tuesdays (Taco Tuesday) they don't have any beef, once we went they didn't have any Chicken. What kinda Mexican Restaurant doesn't have beef or Chicken and they seem to never have Brisket anymore. i can understand not having for a day are two but for weeks is unexceptable, we're about to give up and go to a different Mexican Restaurant.“

“I had heard of this place and decided to try it out the next time I drove through Troup. WOW! These folks knocked it outa the park! I LOVE "chicken fried steak" with cream gravy and these folks really know how to do it right! Great fries, home made blackeye peas, and soft fluffy yeast rolls! The wife had BLT with onion rings and loved them. The young lady who waited on us is related to the owner and provided the kind of service that small town east Texas is famous for. We're looking forward to going back (and taking our friends/neighbors) with us. If you like country "comfort" food and small town ambience, this place might be what you're looking for!! (I even tipped the cook before I left!)
Parking: Big, plenty of room.“
