With 20 anniversaries under our belts, my wife and I have eaten at just about every high-end restaurant in Tyler. We have never eaten a more expensive meal than the one we ate at Prime 102, but we've also never eaten a better one. Their 16 oz ribeye may be the best food item of any kind that I've ever eaten. We have been wanting to try this steakhouse for several months now and I finally planned ahead for our anniversary and got a reservation. Honestly, I don't know where to begin, but let's start with the location. Wow, 1930's era bank, and we were seated in, what used to be, the tellers lobby. Italian marble everywhere. We ate the Shrimp Creole Pasta with peppers and it was genuinely delicious. Very filling for a lunch entree. We could have split it for sure. We also enjoyed the grilled salmon on the bed of veggies. I thought the salmon was as a little salty but I don't use much salt. Maybe an adjustment could be made. The Caesar salad was very nice and came with the baked cheese and anchovies.
