I’ve been eating at Evett’s since I was a child, and I’ll qualify for retirement soon! It’s still my standard for how barbecue should be done!
Staff was super friendly but food seemed old. Brisket was super burned and hard and only half of it was edible. Turkey had good flavor but seemed dry and the skin was tough. Like it was reheated. Jalapeño cheddar sausage was really good tho. First time trying this place as I was just passing through but wasn’t worth it in my opinion since half of it I didn’t eat for being too tough.
just a nice small town, family owned resteraunt with really really good food.
