“First time Dinning inside : Relaxing Atmosphere, Good Customer Service, Good Portions on each plate, (You have to stop a Busy Waitress for Re-Fills, waited for the check but realized we had to go to Register to Pay. ) But overall had a Good Experience, Food Quality was Good as well. ⭐⭐⭐⭐“

“Been going here for years. Service was lacking from years past. Waitress was friendly but never checked back to see if we needed anything else. Food was fresh and hot. Gave us one extra tortilla to eat with carne guisada....WHAT??? Since Covid, prices have skyrocketed! Almost priced their food out of the competition.
Always a clean atmosphere.“

“My husband and I eat stop here every time we travel through Uvalde. We have never had a gordita better than here. And we live in San Antonio which has plenty of great restaurants! Fernando, Albert, and Rick always greet us with a smile and lively conversation. This is a hidden Jewel of Texas!“

“Never a long wait. Fresh salsa meats and the service is on point.
Vegetarian options: A great variety you can pretty much order how you like if you want to leave the meat out. It's so fresh and good nothing tastes like it came out of a can or a box
Parking: The front is a bit small, but plenty on the side for sure.
Kid-friendliness: Totally family oriented
Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of open space“

“We ate here for the first time a few days ago and truly enjoyed it. The food was so fresh and delicious. The service was quick and top-notch. We were thoroughly impressed and sad that we hadn’t tried it after being in Uvalde for so long. We made plans to come on Saturday and eat some delicious food again. We had been hyping it up to our kiddos (and ourselves honestly) all day. We double checked the website + the Facebook page for hours of operation. Everything we saw stated that the restaurant would be closing at 9 pm on Saturday. We got to the restaurant right at 8, unloaded all of the kids and probably got inside around 8:05. We also confirmed the time of closing with the hours on the door - 9 pm. When we came inside, we stood awkwardly waiting to be acknowledged because we needed a table to be put together (2 adults and 4 children). After standing there for a beat, we were told “sorry, we’re closed”. Quite disappointing considering we checked three different outlets prior to entering. We obviously wouldn’t have unloaded four small children had we known this was the case. I do realize that coming am hour (give or take) before closing is frowned upon, but we didn’t really think it would be an issue since the last time we dined in there, the food came out so quickly. We figured we’d be in and out in a little over 30 minutes. I do take responsibility for coming in so close to the “closing time” of 9 pm. With that being said, the food is absolutely some of the best I have EVER had. I do recommend it to anyone. But… I do suggest keeping your hours consistent in order to keep customers returning.“
