We were staying at Hotel El Capitan and stopped in here for one drink which turned into 3. The margaritas were great and we had a good conversation with the bartender and some locals. Definitely pop in here if you're passing through!
After a hot day swimming at Balmorhea (and in advance of climbing Guadalupe the next day), my girlfriend and I were in need of mass quantities of carbohydrates (shout out Beldar!). We popped into Cactus Cantina in Van Horn, and let's just say we had the most amazing time. What a bar! Great sports on the television screens, friendly bartenders, and an incredibly eclectic crowd (including some very interesting people who work at the local aerospace organization). Roof Roof , Roofs did a fantastic job replacing my damaged root from the storm we had in April last year. Friendly, Helpful, Courteous and price was good. The work removing old roof and adding new roof in 3 days. Very impressed
