One of the best places to eat in Vernon, Texas full stop! This looks like an old dairy queen. It has very good food and a good selection. We ate everywhere in Vernon just about and this was our favorite. Just steak fingers but when limited, this was best choice and best price.

Needed a quick meal after along day of hunting on a Sunday evening. Found Fred's on a phone search and was not disappointed. Burger and onion rings were great. Ice cream cone for dessert hit the spot. Staff was polite and courteous. Will be back when I'm in Vernon again.
