WAYY too much bell pepper in your enchilada meat. No reason for it if you ask me
Between food trucks and storefronts, there must be upwards of 40 Mexican restaurants in Victoria. El Norteno stands out as one of the best when it comes to prices, service, and quality of food you name it, they excel at it. All around, it’s a fantastic place to eat. They offer great specials, and the waitresses are always friendly, fast, and efficient. If you’re looking for delicious Mexican food at an affordable price, I couldn’t recommend this restaurant more highly.
Friendly atmosphere and great food. The menudo is always great, just needs a little more spice. Great homemade corn tortillas!

Based on the reviews, El Norteño Mexican Grill offers some of the best food with suspiciously low prices. The restaurant serves authentic dishes, including fajitas, enchiladas, quesadilla, migas plate, milanesa, tortas, and a torta with nopales and refried beans. They bring out salsa and queso on the house with fried corn and flour tortilla. The refried beans are some of the best. The atmosphere is very simple, but they are remodeling the place a little at a time. There is a drive thru for getting everything without getting out of the car. The service is quick, attentive, friendly, fast, and efficient. They offer great specials and can convert fajitas to a vegetarian version. The ice cold horchata is great. It is a fantastic place to eat with delicious food at an affordable price.
