Taquitos El Jefe is a food truck located on Highway 16, near Assured Auto Parts, offering a variety of Mexican dishes. The menu includes Strawberry Agua Frescas, Birria Quesadillas, Agua de Horchata, Quesadilla de Pastor, and Taquitos de Asada. The Birria Tacos are a standout, known for their delicious flavor. The staff is friendly and bilingual, with many customers praising the good customer service provided by the young man who often works there. The food truck also offers seating for customers. The food is consistently praised for being hot and fresh. Prices are reasonable, with a meal for two, including Birria Tacos and a large Chicken Quesadilla, costing around $42. During peak hours, parking can be challenging as the truck shares a lot with an auto shop. Overall, it’s a popular spot for tasty Mexican food, with some customers recommending the street tacos and Agua Fresca de Pina, and noting the friendly service from the staff. The location recently expanded outside the loop, making it easier for more people to enjoy their offerings.
