“I tried Smith’s BBQ for the first time today and it’s a bit of a mixed review. I had the four meat sampler (brisket, ribs, sausage and chicken) with green beans and baked beans. The ribs were good but not memorable and the brisket was a bit chewy BUT, the sausage and chicken were EXCELLENT. The baked beans were simple but perfect. They reminded me of a family picnic. In my opinion, the green beans were OUTSTANDING and the star of the show. Very unique flavor that hit the taste buds like WOW! I’ll definitely go back for double chicken with green beans and baked beans!“

“The fajitas are delicious and super tender! You can definitely tell the tortillas are homemade and thick. The cook cooks on a Santa Maria open fire grill as you order your food, so there is a small wait as he prepares your food. Doesn't look like the meats are precooked, which I love because everything came out freshly made. Definitely worth it.“

Got a sampler plate and between the empanaco, sopito, and taquito I honestly couldn’t tell you what I liked more.But the gentleman working also sold me on a new item they had called the Vampiro… I believe the gentleman gave it to me with chicharron and Oh. My. God. That had to be one of the best things I’ve ever had! If it’s not already a permanent part of their menu I hope they make it a part of their menu because it was SO GOOD.“

“Delicious! A great find down a won’t road and worth the drive! I am in love with their carne asada burrito! I have gone to every other Mexican restaurant here in San Antonio just to try the asada burritos and no one, nothing compares so far! I drive 15 minutes just to go get a treat, this special burrito from this taco truck. I hope they stay open forever and don’t change a thing about their recipes! The meat is seasoned so well and everything, even just the quesadilla is so tasty! This last time I tried the carne asada Sinceonzada (pictured. No burrito pic because I quickly inhaled it) which is like a flat 2 tortilla quesadilla topped with crema, lettuce tomato and avocado, (a plenty good amount of avocado!) and I realized I had to do a review! This place really has a special place in my heart, kudos to the chef, it has good prices too and a yummy creamy green salsa as well!“
