“Came to try this place today and it did not disappoint! The owner was super nice and welcoming from the moment we walked in. The food was made fresh, came out quickly, and the portions were huge! We also tried the homemade horchata, and you can definitely tell it’s homemade super creamy and so good! Of course, we had to order the large quesabirria tacos, and they were absolutely worth it. Great flavor, great portions, and overall a really good experience. Definitely recommend checking them out!“

I believe these tacos were called Taco Charros 😋 I Enjoy their Street Tacos, however these Tacos Charros right here were so Delicious along with a side of horchata as a beverage.

“I was excited to learn about this place from my son, as we've not found a truly remarkable pizza in San Antonio. We loved Ms Ellies, but since it closed, nothing else has checked all the right buttons on our pizza meter. The crust was phenomenal....thin base, bubbled up charred edges, slight crisp on the surface giving way to the perfect chew. The sauce...perfect in its simplicity...just tomatoes and not much else, if anything....perfect amount of cheese (light) so it doesn't weigh down the pie. Fresh basil. Sopressata. It's a walk-up window, and some small seating areas outside... no dine-in option at present. I can't hold that against them. It's just where they are in their Journey so far. But I do look forward to the time that they have a dine-in area and wine to enjoy with their fabulous pizza.“

“The restaurant is very clean with very nice waitstaff. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the food, but my husband loved it. I can say the salsa options are very good and that says a lot. Definitely good tacos. My husband loved the Al pastor and birria tacos. I had caldo de res and a chicken enchilada. The caldo was super disappointing as the meat was very tough and the broth super bland. I’m also not a fan of the super overcooked peas in the rice. The enchilada was actually very good in that the chicken was super fresh and not dried out at all and the sauce had great flavor. I would go back but definitely would stick to tacos and more of that amazing salsa.“

“The Smash Burger was great. The fries were seasoned too much for my taste. I would rather have just good ole' salt and pepper. The service was great and the guy was very friendly. A home run would be to offer regular fries (unseasonsed) and their seasoned fries. Best of both worlds. Read the reviews and I'm not the only one making this observation. I would be more of a repeat customer with non-seasoned fries. Don't get me wrong, I have had some seasoned fries in the past that I like, but I don't particularly care for these that the offer. Again, the burger was great!!!“
