I visit a lot of random local coffee shops, but this one stands out (born and raised in Waco). By far, they have the sweetest employees, whether they're young or older.

Based on the reviews, Common Grounds Franklin is a great coffee shop that stands out. The staff and atmosphere are always wonderful, with the sweetest employees. They offer great coffee, including a medium iced nervous breakdown 1/2 sweet with strawberry coldfoam and cowboy coffee. They have two different varieties of drip on hand and a variety of flavors. The business is well decorated and clean. There is a shaded outdoor sitting area, which is fantastic for sitting in the morning to watch the sunrise. They also have baked goods and a food truck partner, Chulada de Maiz, which is delicious with great breakfast burritos and tacos. It is a great place to study, have meetings, or just sit on work. The Arnold Palmer drink is amazing and highly recommended. They are open at 6 AM during the week.
