“We have gone to this location many times and had wonderful service.
Today, the service was good, but atmosphere was odd.
When we walked in a guy and younger kid in street clothes and headphones were walking around the kitchen. They both walked outside, talked to a teenager in a car, then walked back in grabbed a cookie box. The gentleman in street clothes was about to fill his own order with no gloves or spatula, but An employee( female) walked up and said “ I will do it”.
It’s very possible that he was an employee off the clock, or someone spouse.
It just didn’t give the best vibe of people in street clothes walking around the kitchen.“

“Our wedding was in June 2025, and the cakes and cupcakes were absolutely amazing!
We did the cake-tasting box, which was so fun, and picked a lemon cake with cream cheese icing and a raspberry drizzle. We had a variety of cupcakes, including chocolate, cookie dough, and lemon. We opted to have the bite-sized cupcakes and the traditional-sized cupcakes. Once the night was over, we had 8 cupcakes left due to everyone enjoying them so much. We had just enough cake left to keep the top tier for our first anniversary and have a couple pieces each a couple days after the wedding.
To this day, we keep getting asked who baked the cake and cupcakes.
This company is absolutely amazing, and we will for sure be stopping here every chance we get.
We are incredibly thrilled that we chose them to make our desserts for our wedding day.

“I walked in thinking it was just another Waxahachie, semi-home cooking small family restaurant with a basic menu and average food, but boy was I wrong! To my surprise, it’s actually an authentic not so little, scratch kitchen! The service was wonderful and so was our meal! It was very clean and the decor was tasteful, pretty, and Valentine’s themed. My guess is they go all out for every holiday as they were gearing up for Easter. My only complaint is that you’re going to need quite a few extra minutes to decide what to order as the menu is super eclectic and everything down to the garnish is strategic perfection. This place is great for a quick breakfast bite, a business luncheon, or a girl’s day out complete with brunch, creative cocktails, and a coffee selection that requires their own barista! I live about 20 minutes away, but I will gladly make the drive and pass by at least 5 other similar spots just to get to those funnel cake waffles and mimosa flights! 😍“
