Enjoyably authentic and reasonably priced. Some very tasty homestyle German food. It smelt of cloves in the dining area, which I thought was very inviting. Beer was very cheap and tasty too.
It's been a long time since I've been here, but I was pleasantly surprised. We split the enormous potluck with goulash and had a big box full of leftovers after we ate our fill. The paprika roast, schnitzel, and goulash were my favorite of the lot. You can tell they are really taking everybody's input into consideration with changes since my last visit. Not sure what to make of it. The food comes very close to original German food I know from growing up in Germany. And the food there is really not bad, I think it lacks on detail to make it perfect (especially the Kartoffelsuppe, the Rindsroulade and the Paprikagulasch). Also some dishes were not served kitchen-hot, but on cold dishes.
