Do NOT order the beef fajitas. They have changed their recipe, and they are just average now. They used to be the best in town. NO LONGER! We have repeatedly told management of our disappointment over this change. We know many other regular customers also have complained about the change in recipe all to no avail. For the company, it’s all about profits. The new recipe is cheaper. We frequent Lupe’s so much less than we used to, but clearly not enough to impact their bottom...
I brought an out of state colleague here who for lunch because he wanted to try Tex Mex food. The service was top notch, the food was excellent and the lunch portions were more than fair. It was nice that even during lunch the manager came by to make sure everything was good. This is the type of service you don't get everywhere.
Got the chili con queso with beef & chicken fajitas. The food presentation was good if not a bit expansive(lots of little dishes of the sides covered the table leaving little room for anything or anyone else) tortillas were too large and easily tore in the middle. Taste wise everything was good.
