“I have been here three times and I have not once been disappointed. I had the Carmela this time and it was absolutely delicious!! Previously I had the grilled cheese & tomato soup and chicken Alfredo both were delicious! The free frozen yogurt is a bonus!“

“Milano's is another hidden gem. The wife and I are valley natives and have never been here. We thought we'd give it a shot on date night and ended up having the place all to ourselves. We stopped in on a Friday afternoon around 6:00. Walking in you can tell this restaurant has been around for quite some time but is maintained and kept at its original theme. We were greeted immediately and seated immediately to our preference. We started off with an appetizer which we try not to do but our willpower wasn't doing so great today. They started us off with some fresh bread with the herb herb and garlic oil that is usually served with it. Then we requested the calamari which was well served, well battered, nice and hot. After a careful review of the menu we decided to order something that we were familiar with in order to compare with other locations. My wife ordered the tour of Italy which came with alfredo, chicken parm and lasagna. I ordered the pasta casino. My entree was a pick your own pasta so I picked angel hair and then the rest was whatever the recipe was. It was not bad at all and had great flavor but could have used a little more of the sauce. The wife's tour of Italy was okay as well. She stated the chicken parm cutlet was hot, was fresh and tasted alright. Her Alfredo had good flavor but lacked a little more sauce. The most surprising was the lasagna. The presentation was very disappointing but the flavor was actually very good. Again as I mentioned we were trying to compare the foods that were familiar with with others and the lasagna is a big one because it is usually layered this one wasn't so much. It was surprisingly tasty though. All the food was fresh, portions were so so and entrees took a bit getting out so I'm assuming everything was cooked to order. That's definitely not a bad thing. The service was okay, we didn't get very much attention and occasionally waited to have our drinks refilled. It could have been worse but could have been better because they didn't have much of a crowd. I did enjoy the decor. They have different sections with different Italian themes. This would have been a much better visit had we not been fighting off a fly the entire time. I think I was able to kill it towards the end of our meal. All in all it was an okay visit and the wife and I enjoyed each other's company in the quiet setting with light Italian music playing in the background.“
