“If you are looking for truly authentic Mexican food, El Taquito is your spot. We tried the tacos and gorditas. Deshebrada or shredded pork with red sauce, I learned, is a must try!! The shrimp cocktail looks great and was a huge portion along with the soups. The two things I want to try next time.“
“We found this food truck on our way traveling from Florida to Texas and stopped here for dinner based on their google rating. The only thing I wanted was authentic tacos and HOT hot salsa. “Me and my parents went there I had the tamales plate dinner 4 pork tamales with chili alicart no beans or rice and a side order of curly fries and a dr pepper to drink and a ate a few Sopapias 😋 i have eaten there in the past only place I go for Mexican food I will go back for more I would recommend to all check um out take a friend along or friends family members they would enjoy it to“

“My wife loves Mexican food so we stopped at this place after a long day of driving. It turned out this was my wife best Mexican restaurant for the soft shell tacos and I have to agree. The small chopped beef was tender, a small slice of avocado was included. Dipped in the green sauce, the tacos were so great that I ate them all. The waitress was very tentative and the manager was super friendly. We'll find this place when we head back home in a week. Come by and see if I'm right. I know I'm right. 😂“

“My extended family and I celebrated my birthday at Beni’s on the first of April. I called ahead and asked to be set up in the room to the right when you walk in- we had 16, including 3 young children. The lady who took the reservation was very excited to have a large group. Everyone enjoyed the extended variety of items on the menu, the food was excellent and they even finished the night off with a “Happy Birthday” singing, complete with sombrero and sopapilla! The lady waiter did a great job - very attentive & friendly. It was reasonably priced & the food came out quickly, and was delicious. We definitely will be back, as it is very close to our house!!! 5/5“

When I was there, they had network issues. It made for slow going when ordering and checking out, but it seemed like they were short-handed or were I'll prepared to deal with issues like that.

“Different from the traditional American restaurant. This place is authentic, so you might want to know a little Spanish. I don't think they give refills on drinks either. “We went there last time we were in Gladewater and the server was great, along with the food. This time food was still good but server couldn’t crack a smile the entire time.
