We absolutely LOVED the food, and the service was great. My only complaint was that it was SO incredibly loud, and tables and booths were close together so we felt like we were practically part of the conversation of the group next to us ?
Used to come here every week and get the chips and queso and some nachos. Was phenomenal but they recently changed their queso recipe and it now tastes like condensed milk or walnuts so I haven't wanted to come back since everything we order uses the queso. Hope one day the recipe goes back so I can have the food again.

El tapatio is one of the only Mexican food experiences and Wichita falls. That's worth your time at all. That being said, I ordered the quesadilla and I'm used to being able to eat a quesadilla with my hand, but theirs is so large and filled with the brim with stuff that it's more of a fork and knife ordeal. So I wouldn't recommend getting the quesadillas unless you're ready for that. But everything else my friends had and are queso all looked delicious. Whatever I had last time....read full review
