“Made a visit to Monty’s Lighthouse Cajun Bar & Grill for some seafood on the lake. This is a "mom & pop" place and they have a varied menu to choose from. Worked with my server Ryan and decided on a shrimp cocktail and the Stuffed Redfish. The shrimp were good, but I didn't taste the Cajun Boil flavor...but they were good and the cocktail sauce had a solid kick. The Redfish was a nice slab and the crab stuffing was layered between a slice into the fish. I really enjoyed the lemon butter caper sauce, really complimented the fish without being overly "lemony". The veggies were excellent, perfectly cooked and seasoned while the dirty rice was some of the best I've had in a long time. Great food, wonderful view of the lake, and great service.“
