“My wife and sister had lunch there today. They were busy so we had to be seated outside. Even in the summer heat the shade and huge ceiling fans made it comfortable. The area had comfortable seating and gas lanterns. The service was friendly and our food came quickly even though they were very busy. I chose the Philly Cheesesteak with a side of potato salad. The sandwich was delicious. I especially liked the shaved ribeye steak they used for the sandwich. I liked the potato salad but it was missing pickles and mustard! The tea was good too! My wife ordered The Gilled Turkey. I will be having her leftover sandwich for dinner and let you know about it! We saw one couple enter through a back gate instead of the host station. They left after no one waited on them. But in the waitstaff defense you should always check to see if you are to seat yourself.“

“THE star of the SHOW is the food .......I got something off the low carb low fat menu grilled chicken with spinach spinach red peppers and articho heartss and my God this was a revelation!!!! It was so full of flavor and not even remotely reminiscent of something that would be considered healthy!! I joke but seriously this was probably one of the best things I've eaten in a long time the spinach was fresh as were the peppers the artichoke hearts were tangy but not in a bitter low quality way the chicken was lean and grilled and sliced to perfection! My husband got the Atlantic salmon piccata and it was delicious as delicious as well the lemon butter sauce was perfect. We could both tell that fresh lemon was used in the sauce and it paired beautifully with the fish. What I found most delightful was the fact that there was a small portion of of pasta with lots of fresh spinach and then a large piece of quality salmon. The restaurant is decorated In the most charming way and you can tell someone put a lot of love into it!! The exterior has beautiful flowers and lovely Landscaping. The portions are large and the bread that they put at the table while I suspect his frozen is baked beautifully and tastes delicious. My coffee that I ordered at the end of the meal was warm at best and there was coffee splattered all over the cup but once again this is small and comparison to the food which is outstanding this is outstanding definitely should stop at this quaint lovely is this quaint lovely restaurant for a solidly good is a solidly good Italian meal in Canyon Lake.....“
“We went there for brunch and it was very tasty — we had the quiche and soup, pasta from the kids menu, and the shakshouka. All tasty (the shakshouka has a little spicy heat so FYI for those who don’t like any spice, but it was yummy). The dining area has beautiful glass walls that showcase the pretty trees outside. Everyone was warm when we came in on a rainy day and we noticed in the bathroom that if you round up your check, they donate that little extra to the local school arts program. My only critique was the quiche came out cold, which may have been on purpose, but it would have been even tastier warmed.“
