“I was almost broke so I went to Burger King drive-through lane. I ordered a fish burger sandwich, combo chicken sandwich and a regular hamburger meal. When I got home I noticed my fish burger the fish was gray color and very thin. The chicken burger had a lump of mayo and one corner so I decided to take everything back which was almost $30 when I got there they told me that I had to return it after I ordered in 15 minutes after I got my order . I explain to them that it took 20 minutes for me to get home and What is another 15 minutes to get to eat that’s when I discovered the uneditable food I took all the food plus the drinks but they refuse to refund me my $30. my last money that I had.. I will not go to Burger King ever again that is a very poor policy!“

“Old school vibe where you park and order your food. We went as family members recommended. We gave the fried chicken 5 stars as it was well seasoned throughout and beats Gus’s imo. Fries were hot but not very crispy or well seasoned so will pass on that next time.“

Service was mediocre. Our server seemed to be new and was very inattentive despite the restaurant being fairly empty. We had to go to the counter to get her attention to order more, she didn't know to bring the check, seemed like she had not worked a server job before...

The other server working Friday seemed to be great though based on her interaction with the other tables, so I think it was just that server.“

“Felt like a Chester's burger for dinner. Arrived around 6:30 pm at the hwy 281 and Thousand Oaks location.

The parking lot was filled, but luckily when we entered there was not a line to order. We ordered our drinks, fries, and burgers. Then, collected our drinks and found a table in the main dining area.

Our name for our order was called in about 15 minutes. We had all the condiments already on the table and proceeded to eat. Yum ! There is nothing like a Chester's burger.

The food was good, we had some of the staff visit the table to see if we needed any drink refills or anything else. Good food, good service and some big screen TV with sports on.

I hope that if you visit your experience is as good as mine.“

“Never heard of this place until my sister recommended it on a visit. Upon entering the establishment, they had some good music playing, they had football on the tvs and they really were not super busy.

Upon ordering, you do have to purchase everything separate. I got a bacon burger with fries and a drink. Between two meals, I paid just under $40, which I didn’t think was all that bad. Order was completed rather quickly, however as mentioned above, it was rather slow considering it was Sunday.

The burger itself was full of flavor and juicy! The fries lacked salt, I guess you had to add the salt yourself. The fries were tastey and crunchy! Probably the best fries I’ve had in some time!!

Unfortunately I got into town hungry, so I didn’t take much photos of the environment! If you are in town and looking for a burger, come to Chester’s and give it try. You definitely will not be disappointed! I plan on coming back when I am back in San Antonio!

Parking: The business appears to share a parking lot with other merchants in the area. It was a Sunday night so parking wasn’t an issue. I am not sure how parking is during busy hours, whatever those hours may be.

Kid-friendliness: I feel they are kid friendly as there were several kids present during my visit.

Wheelchair accessibility: I did not see any wheelchair access, however I could be wrong.“

We found Franky G's with a Google search for "great hamburgers in San Antonio." It did not disappoint! “Buffalo Wings Lovers Rejoice!

I have searched high and low of Texas to find the best buffalo wings to no avail. With little to ok high expectations I ordered the 6 piece Buffalo Wings even though they offered a 10 pc option. This was my mistake.

Their buffalo sauce is homemade and has a nice creamy yet buttery consistency with the right amount of HOT to it! I’m on my way back now for a side of just the sauce to take back to Austin.

I also ordered their jr bacon cheeseburger and was reminded of what a real burger taste like. I really enjoy that the bacon was cooked and chopped ensuring pieces of bacon in every cheesy bite.

I unfortunately also ordered a pineapple milkshake and qas so shook at the combo of pineapple and ice cream. A delight nonetheless.

“The burger was delicious! This place is a nice change of pace to the usual fast food burger joints. The parking was a little rough to figure out, but it was worth it. You can either park right up front if you get a lucky spot or in the hospital parking lot right behind it on the same block. (They credit you an hour on your bill, if you let them know) We will definitely be frequenting this place from now on.“
