If you ever drive through Houston and Lake Charles, you will find the most delicious little country cooking diner. This spot has been a family favorite for over 16years now! Everyday they have two special entrées and serve Chicken fried steaks, baked chicken, & Chicken fried chicken! If you go order the mac & cheese!!!! On a road trip and searched on-line for a great place to stop for lunch. Found it! This home style cooking was absolutely amazing. We brought a toddler and he devoured his lunch! Great fun atmosphere-especially if you are an Aggie (Gig’em)! The staff were fun and personable. We would highly recommend stopping to stay awhile. Great flavor!
